My Sis & I

My sister Joyce whom I love immensely has been fighting ovarian cancer. What a horrid disease! She has carcino/sarcoma ....which is two types of cancer......a double whammy!

She's been a real trouper and has stayed strong through all the chemo and surgeries she's had. She refuses to let the treatments get her down and even does her "Chemo Dance" before she takes her treatment. Her confident spirit and determination lighten the moods of those around her that are fighting their own cancers.

She visualizes herself as healthy and relies on the prayers of all those who love her.
I can't imagine my life without my sister, so she's always in my thoughts and I travel into the U.S. to see her as much as I can.

Here's a photo of us together during a visit. She is still happy and her health is improving lately.

We enjoyed a huge 'get well' party for her during the weekend then her and I chatted for hours.

My sister absolutely LOVES karaoke and so we sang until our voices were hoarse!

That's what memories are made of.....
